Lemme start by saying, <rant> IT FUCKING RAINS EVERY DAY. Seriously, there is rain probably 4 days the week. Like why did I even buy Gazella... I can't take her to work when its raining and transportation isn't necessarily that cheap. OH AND the S-Bahn I take to work will be not be working for August as they have to do repairs. So that means I gotta take a super long detour and don't get to sleep until 830/9 anymore. Fucking fantastic. Oh and the subway has NO A/C. So its fucking hot, humid, and reeeeeeks of bodily odours of many fat sweaty men. </end rant>
Today was I guess you can say a good day? I finally "learned" how to pull the weekly report and compile the data to make pretty charts, graphs and powerpoint presentation for my weekly call with one of our clients. It only took around 4 hours. No biggie, just four hours of my day, every week.
Half way through my report, I had to leave for the Bürgeramt because I had an appointment to finally register my place of living in Berlin.
Now I just have to wait a few weeks for my Tax ID Card to come in.
After work, I headed to main branch of my local bank to pick up my debit and credit card as I wasn't sure how my mailbox works since I live in a flat and its weird and I'm stupid, so they had to send it there. The struggles of trying to communicate with people.
Me: "Sprechen sie Englisch?"
Them: "Nicht"
Me: *whips out phone, types question into google translate*
Them: *reads and answers in German*
Me: *palm to face and walks away to look for someone else to ask*
After a few fails, I finally got help and got my cards and the person even helped me activate my Visa and change my pin since everything was in German. Finally done with that, I walked around and found my rice cooker. YAY!
I guess I'm officially a resident of Deutschland?

"Do you speak English?", "No" LOL! It's summer time currently, when it gets to Autumn the volume of rain will double, when it becomes winter, you'll think Noah and his mates will coming over the hill in their ark any minute. Suggest buying fenders, installing fenders, and maybe man-ing up a bit. Miss yooou
